ESTIMATOR (Construction)

Responsibilities

• Primary Role: Preparing Precise Cost Estimates to Support Profitable, Competitive Bids​
• Accountabilities: Accountable for Preparing Detailed and Accurate Cost Estimates that Support Competitive Bids and Profitable Project Execution​.
• Success Metrics: Success is Determined by the Accuracy of Estimates, Bid-to-win Ratio and Contribution to Profitable Project Outcomes​.
• Work with Sales and Estimating Team on estimates/quotes for plan / spec and design build projects.
• Provide customers with detailed proposals on work to be performed.
• Labor planning as applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications as applicable.
• 5+ years’ proven experience in similar role, preferably in an HVAC or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC parts and their applications.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented mindset, with a focus on accuracy and precision in maintaining records and managing inventory.
• Proficient in using computerized inventory management systems and MS Office applications.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report
• Ability to pass Criminal Background and Drug Test
