With an extensive career marked by strategic leadership, innovative solutions, and a commitment to operational excellence.
Her career has been shaped by a deep commitment to fostering strong corporate cultures, developing leaders, and creating profitable, sustainable businesses. As the founder of Bravo! Group Services, she built the company from the ground up, growing it into a $150 million enterprise. In 2021, Bravo! was sold to a $3 billion organization backed by private equity, marking a significant milestone in Karen’s entrepreneurial journey.
She has earned numerous accolades, including recognition as one of NJ Biz’s Best 50 Women in Business, EY Entrepreneur of the Year, and the Distinguished Citizen of the Year award from the Boy Scouts of America. She is also a proud advocate for small businesses, believing strongly in their role as the backbone of the American economy.
Outside of work, Karen is an avid golfer and pickleball enthusiast. She is also deeply dedicated to mentoring others at all levels of business, helping entrepreneurs navigate their journeys with wisdom and guidance.

Christopher Curtis
President
Chris is the founder and owner of C-K Air Conditioning, which merged with Control Temp, Inc. in 2011. With over 30 years of experience, he has successfully estimated and managed projects in the food industry, telecommunications, biotech, and pharmaceutical manufacturing. His expertise includes mechanical equipment installations such as chillers, boilers, plumbing systems, and HVAC systems.
In 2024, Chris was honored with the NJ Biz Business Icon Award, recognizing his dedication to the industry, his leadership, and his commitment to community service. He resides in Hunterdon County with his wife and four children, and you can often find him enjoying weekends on his Kubota tractor.

Andrew Harris
Vice President
Drew brings over 25 years of experience in the mechanical services industry to C-K Control Temp. After successfully running his own HVAC business, he joined our team in 2015 and has been instrumental in the growth of our BMS Division. His achievements include expanding our client base, managing service and construction projects, and mentoring team members. A true grassroots success story, Drew spent many years as a Union Technician at CKCT before venturing out on his own. He later returned to CKCT in this Senior Leadership role, where he leverages his hands-on experience to make a greater impact.
He holds numerous certifications, including Honeywell Tridium AX, UA Star, NJHVAC/R Master License, Refrigerant CFC Qualification, and OSHA 30. Outside of work, Drew prioritizes family and integrity, cherishing quality time with his wife and two children.

Trupti Shah
Controller
With over 30 years of global financial experience, Trupti leads a talented team of finance professionals in accounting and financial planning, and treasury, collaborating with business leaders to drive the company’s profitable growth strategy. Her strong background in auditing and internal controls ensures that the accounting department operates with the highest level of compliance and integrity, effectively supporting both internal teams and external partners.
Trupti holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance with a major in Accounting and Economics from Bombay University, along with several professional certifications. Trupti finds solace is reading philosophy, meditation and guiding the youth. She finds joy & peace in social causes that allow her to give back to society for a better tomorrow.

Stephanie Nacca
Director, Human Resources
Stephanie brings over 25 years of comprehensive experience in the media, government contracting and professional services industries as an entrusted HR practitioner, leader, mentor, and collaborator, with a genuine passion for empowering employees. Most of her career has been in the HR transformation and operations space helping reshape the human resources function to better align with business goals and improve overall performance.
She holds several professional certifications, a Bachelors Degree in Communications/Public Relations and a Master’s degree in HR and Organizational Development. Outside of work, Stephanie is dedicated to her son, who is her entire world. She also gives back her personal time to Good Grief, NJDCF, and she loves spending time outdoors, enjoying nature.

Patricia McGrainer-Iorio
Director, Client Experience
Patti is a seasoned sales executive with an infectious personality, who brings an unmatched passion for her trade and an insatiable curiosity to every opportunity. With years of experience driving growth and building meaningful client relationships, she combines expertise in sales strategy with a deep understanding of customer needs. A graduate of Rider University, she also holds a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Trial Management from Thomas Edison State University.
Patti is known for bringing boundless energy and positivity to her role, making her an invaluable asset to the team. Her commitment to continuous learning keeps her ahead of market trends, while her engaging approach inspires teams and clients alike. Patti is dedicated to creating win-win outcomes that propel CKCT and their clients to success.

Peter Bredlau
Director Mechanical and Strategic Solutions
Peter brings 25 years of industry expertise to C-K Control Temp, focusing on enhancing brand awareness within the marketplace. After successfully selling his HVAC service business over 15 years ago, he has dedicated his career to helping HVAC and mechanical companies grow year after year.
Residing in New Jersey with his wife and three kids, Peter is also committed to giving back to his community by volunteering with several local nonprofit organizations. His passion for both business and community service makes him a valuable member of the team.
