Helmet of Experience Program
The Helmet of Experience program is designed to transform mistakes into valuable learning opportunities, fostering a culture of openness and continuous improvement within our organization. This innovative initiative encourages Teammates to embrace and share their mistakes, turning them into powerful lessons for themselves and their Teammates.
- Earning the Helmet: Teammates can earn their hockey helmet by demonstrating a willingness to be vulnerable, embrace feedback and ownership of an error. This initial step signifies their commitment to personal and professional growth.
- Drawing Stitches: Whenever an employee makes a mistake, they draw a stitch on their helmet. Each stitch represents a learning experience, turning the helmet into a visual testament to personal and professional growth.
- Sharing Stories: Periodically, Teammates are encouraged to share the stories behind their stitches with their Teammates. These sessions are designed to promote transparency, support, and collective learning. We encourage our Teammates to share at any moment with a pool of fellow Teammates whether impromptu in the office, retreats or in meetings.
- Celebrating Growth: As Teammates accumulate stitches, they are recognized not for their errors, but for their commitment to learning and continuous improvement.
